Overview
Goldfish functions as a compact AI memory that resides directly on the user's macOS or Windows device. This on-device architecture allows for rapid processing and enhanced privacy, as data is handled locally. Users can activate Goldfish by pressing the ⌥ Option key from any application where they are typing. This seamless integration enables the AI to assist with various text-based tasks without requiring a separate application window or copy-pasting.
The primary capabilities include generating replies to messages, drafting new content, summarizing existing text, and continuing incomplete sentences or paragraphs. A key feature is its ability to learn and replicate the user's unique writing tone, ensuring that all AI-generated text aligns with their personal or professional style. Furthermore, Goldfish maintains full context of the ongoing conversation or document, allowing for highly relevant and coherent suggestions.
