Overview
FilmAssistant is a screenwriting tool designed to streamline the creative process by automatically building an outline as the user writes. This dynamic outline helps writers maintain an overview of their story structure, ensuring consistency and coherence. The platform allows users to track key story elements such as scenes, characters, and factual details, which are then integrated into the outlining process.
Users can import existing screenplay drafts into FilmAssistant, enabling them to leverage the tool's analytical capabilities on their current work. A core feature is its ability to provide notes and feedback that are deeply grounded in the entire narrative context. This means that suggestions and revisions are informed by the complete story, rather than isolated sections, helping writers refine their scripts more effectively. FilmAssistant aims to serve as a comprehensive digital writers' room, facilitating organized development and revision of screenplays.
